Corporate Counsel II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Act as the primary legal consultant for the India business, providing guidance on commercial, operational, and regulatory issues.

• Offer legal assistance across APAC regions as required.

• Counsel on local regulatory systems, encompassing telecommunications, data protection, employment, and industry-specific regulations.

• Collaborate closely with sales, services, and partner organizations to facilitate revenue-generating initiatives while mitigating legal and compliance risks.

• Draft, review, and negotiate a diverse array of agreements, such as partner agreements, SaaS/cloud contracts, service agreements, NDAs, and HR-related documents.

• Assist with complex and strategic transactions, including multi-jurisdictional agreements and outsourcing arrangements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree and eligibility to practice law in India.

• Over 10 years of experience in private practice and/or in-house legal roles.

• Solid experience in commercial contracting and providing legal support to technology or telecom companies.

• Proficient in Business English.

• Proven ability to balance legal risks with business goals.

• Capability to work independently while juggling multiple priorities in a dynamic, cross-cultural setting.

• Strong interpersonal skills and stakeholder management capabilities.

• Willingness and adaptability to work across different time zones, including EU working hours.
