This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Review, draft, and negotiate a diverse array of agreements encompassing SaaS, hardware acquisitions, AI procurement, and professional services.

• Serve as a vital member of commercial teams, delivering high-caliber legal services for multi-jurisdictional transactions, dispute resolution, and regulatory compliance.

• Create and refine global templates (e.g., T&Cs, SaaS agreements, SLAs, AI terms, API licenses, System Integrator offerings, and E-commerce terms) and develop guidance tools addressing challenges such as liability limitations and data usage rights.

• Keep abreast of legislative changes in the digital domain and maintain relationships with specialized outside counsel for particular projects and litigation matters.

• Enhance the skills of legal and business teams through customized training programs on digital issues, collaborating with our Compliance team for specific sessions on our code of conduct and overarching values.

⛳️ Requirements

• Legal Expertise: An accredited EU lawyer holding a Bachelor (LL.B.) or Master of Laws (LL.M.) with over 5 years of post-bar experience as a member of at least one bar association.

• Digital Specialization: Extensive experience in drafting and negotiating SaaS, AI terms, and hardware licensing agreements, preferably within the technology sector.

• Technical Literacy: A solid grasp of issues related to cloud computing, the Internet of Things (IoT), intellectual property, and data privacy/security, coupled with a keen intellectual curiosity for product architecture.

• Solution-Oriented Problem Solving: A creative problem-solver adept at addressing complex legal challenges in innovative and practical ways while juggling multiple matters in a dynamic environment.

• Strategic Communication: Exceptional ability to convey nuanced legal concepts clearly to engineering teams and senior executives, ensuring that legal principles are comprehensible to non-lawyers.
