This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Oversee and deliver instructional support, virtual teaching, and general strategies for a group of students who need direct and/or indirect services;
• Create, write, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 plans;
• Track student progress, prepare report cards, and hold parent conferences;
• Maintain regular communication with the student’s IEP team, which includes parents/learning coaches, related service providers, and other school personnel to ensure that IEP goals are met and that their needs are addressed promptly and appropriately;
• Provide direct services to students, including those delivered via web-conferencing software when necessary;
• Plan, organize, and conduct virtual IEP-related meetings as required;
• Engage in the school’s Student Support Team; assist teachers and learning coaches in developing and implementing program modifications and strategies for all students;
• Help with the organization and proper execution of all paperwork, documentation, and procedures associated with the IEP process as needed;
• Aid in coordinating related service providers as stipulated by their IEPs;
• Keep accurate and current data in the school’s Learning Management System and special education software;
• Assist in administering state testing and coordinate special adaptations required based on the IEP;
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Must possess a valid Ohio Special Education Certificate
• Degree in Special Education or a related educational field
• Successful completion of background checks or clearances, including the Child Abuse History Clearance
• Experience with policy (IDEA) and/or administration in Special Education
• Proficient technology skills (especially with Microsoft Office products and Google Suite)
• Exceptional communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Highly organized and punctual

• High degree of flexibility and adaptability
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Track record as a team player
• Willingness to travel for marketing, state testing, and other school events (may include occasional overnight travel)
• Capability to work effectively in a remote setting
