This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.
• Oversee the onboarding and continuous coaching of tutors to ensure K–12 students receive exceptional, data-informed instruction.
• Facilitate tutor onboarding: Equip them for their initial session, guide them on how to navigate curriculum and assessments, and review Learning Plans (LPs).
• Provide coaching on SPED strategies: Autism, ADHD, ELL, and behavior support; implement IEP/504 accommodations.
• Develop resources: Create a SPED Toolkit, sample lessons, planning templates, and progress-monitoring tools; advocate for UDL, RTI/MTSS, and multisensory instruction.
• Conduct professional development and coaching: Host monthly drop-ins/webinars; observe, provide feedback, and encourage reflection; celebrate achievements (shoutouts, certificates).
• Support educational technology: Utilize Jamboard, Flip, Blooket, Boom Cards, and ReadWorks; produce one-pagers and brief video tutorials; manage a Virtual Resource Hub.
• Assist with systems: Provide FAQ/troubleshooting support and facilitate streamlined check-ins with tutors, families, and schools.
• Ensure quality assurance: Review lesson plans for adherence to standards and IEP alignment; model demonstration lessons (Gradual Release: I Do → We Do → You Do).
• Analyze data and set goals: Utilize TME assessments to establish baselines and track mastery; collaborate with tutors to set and monitor progress goals.
• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education (or a related field) and a minimum of 3 years of experience in K–12 SPED (teacher, case manager, interventionist).
• Demonstrated experience in coaching and professional development facilitation with strong written and verbal communication skills.
• In-depth knowledge of UDL, RTI/MTSS, SEL, accommodations/modifications, and behavior support strategies.
• Data literate and proficient in Google Workspace/Zoom along with the mentioned educational technology tools.
• Strong skills in time management, planning, and prioritization.
• Capable of organizing and managing multiple responsibilities effectively.
• Professional and approachable demeanor.
• Ability to prioritize and concentrate on key objectives, which may shift from month to month.
• Effective communication skills in virtual settings.
• Proficient in utilizing all communication methods including in-person, phone, and video.
• Skilled at fostering engagement and trust in virtual relationships, whether with clients or team members.
• Collaborates well with others.
• Demonstrates learning agility – able to adapt to changes in the work environment by modifying behaviors as necessary.
• Capable of acquiring new skills as needed.
• Skilled in engaging, managing, and nurturing virtual relationships with clients, employees, and business partners (e.g., local schools).
• Experience in managing remote teachers.
• Ability to work independently.
• High tolerance for ambiguity.
• 2-3 years of progressive career advancement.
• Experience working in a virtual operations and team environment.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Google applications.
