Spanish Interpreter, Experienced

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation primarily in medical environments.

• Provide interpretation services for social services, customer care, and financial clients.

• Start with Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and have a clear pathway to Video Remote Interpretation (VRI).

• Uphold total impartiality and confidentiality in all interactions.

⛳️ Requirements

• 6 to 12+ months of experience in remote medical interpretation.

• C1 English proficiency level (EF SET 4-Skill, TOEFL, or CAE).

• Preferred certifications: ALTA (9+) or LanguageStat/PICSI (75%–80%+), issued within the past 12 months.

• Mastery of medical and customer service terminology.

• Certification in HIPAA & FWA, or willingness to obtain.

• Clean background check required.

• Hardwired Ethernet connection (no Wi-Fi).

• USB noise-canceling headset is mandatory.

• Windows 10 or higher with a minimum of 4GB RAM.

• A private and quiet workspace is necessary.
