Spanish Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation services through telephone and video channels between English and Spanish.

• Provide interpretation in medical, social services, customer service, and financial contexts.

• Enhance communication between healthcare providers and patients to guarantee clear understanding and quality care.

• Operate within a combined Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in interpreting calls related to medical, customer service, social services, and financial matters.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is essential.

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is required.

• Prior experience in remote interpretation for both languages is necessary.

• Strong communication and listening abilities.

• Certification in medical interpretation or a similar field is preferred.

• Adherence to HIPAA regulations.

• A wired Ethernet connection directly to the router is mandatory; Wi-Fi is not permitted.

• A noise-canceling microphone and USB headset are required; approved brands include Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Plantronics Blackwire C3220 (Poly), and Microsoft Lifechat LX-6000.

• Must use the latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox.

• An i5 processor or better, 6th generation or newer, is needed.

• A camera with a minimum resolution of 1080p is required.

• Must be available full-time, 5 days a week (with 2 days off).
