Spanish Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation services via phone and video between English and Spanish.

• Provide interpretation in various contexts, including medical, social services, customer service, and financial sectors.

• Facilitate communication between healthcare providers and patients to promote effective understanding and care.

• Operate within a combined Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) setting.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient interpretation skills for medical, customer service, social services, and financial calls.

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

• Prior experience in remote interpretation in both languages is required.

• Strong communication and listening abilities.

• Relevant certification in medical interpretation or a related discipline.

• Adherence to HIPAA regulations.

• A wired Ethernet connection directly to the router; Wi-Fi connectivity is not permitted.

• A noise-canceling microphone and USB headset; only the Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Plantronics Blackwire C3220 (Poly), and Microsoft Lifechat LX-6000 models are accepted.

• The latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox is required.

• An i5 processor or higher, 6th generation or newer.

• A camera with a minimum resolution of 1080p.

• Availability for full-time work, 5 days a week (with 2 days off).
