Spanish Interpreter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver precise consecutive interpretation services via phone and video between English and Spanish.

• Provide interpretation in various settings, including medical, social services, customer service, and financial.

• Enable effective communication between healthcare providers and patients to ensure proper understanding and care.

• Operate within a combined Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI) and Video Remote Interpretation (VRI) framework.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in interpreting medical, customer service, social services, and financial calls.

• Familiarity with medical terminology.

• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish.

• Previous experience in remote interpretation for both languages is essential.

• Strong communication and listening abilities.

• Relevant certification in medical interpretation or a related discipline.

• Compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Direct Ethernet connection to the router via cable; Wi-Fi connections are not permitted.

• A noise-canceling microphone and USB headset from accepted brands: Logitech H390, Jabra GN, Plantronics Blackwire C3220 (Poly), or Microsoft Lifechat LX-6000.

• The latest version of Chrome, Safari, Edge, or Firefox is required.

• An i5 processor or higher, 6th generation or newer.

• A camera with a minimum resolution of 1080p.

• Full-time availability for 5 days a week (2 days off).
