Sourcing and Recruitment Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Perform high-volume candidate sourcing and screening for various open positions.

• Assess resumes and conduct initial qualification evaluations.

• Lead extensive video screenings to efficiently determine candidate suitability.

• Organize, coordinate, and oversee interviews among recruiters and hiring managers.

• Manage and update job postings across various job boards and sourcing platforms.

• Collaborate with recruiters and stakeholders to create and revise job descriptions (JDs).

• Maintain precise and current candidate records within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

• Dispatch a large volume of candidate communications, updates, and follow-ups.

• Assist with general recruitment administration and other ad hoc tasks as necessary.

• Ensure a consistent, timely, and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior hands-on experience in a sourcing or recruitment support role within a high-volume or fast-paced hiring environment is essential.

• Previous remote work experience is required, including proficiency with remote collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana (or similar), and experience with US or UK-based companies; applications lacking this experience will not be considered.

• Demonstrated ability to handle repetitive, high-volume recruitment tasks with precision.

• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail.

• Comfortable with conducting video-based candidate screenings and managing tight timelines.

• Experience in supporting operational or high-volume recruitment teams is preferred.

• Familiarity with job posting management and basic employer branding concepts is preferred.

• Experience with recruitment metrics, pipelines, or reporting is preferred.

• Prior experience in creating or updating job descriptions is preferred.
