Solutions Integration Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead system integration initiatives alongside customer development teams, partners, and third-party systems integrators.

• Develop scalable, enterprise-level solutions utilizing Samsara APIs, Webhooks, Connectors, and various web integration technologies.

• Create and design comprehensive project scopes, technical specifications, and business requirements from conception through execution.

• Manage intricate projects that involve numerous stakeholders, dependencies, uncertainties, risks, and impacts.

• Make delivery commitments for significant projects.

• Ensure maintainability, portability, scalability, and reliability in technical designs while balancing the speed of delivery.

• Develop resilient and scalable integration architecture for real-time data streaming, event subscriptions, and batch processing.

• Build, test, validate, and review code to ensure complete, high-quality deliverables.

• Advise on and document integration best practices utilizing Samsara APIs and products.

• Perform thorough code reviews and offer actionable feedback.

• Share best practices and insights with Samsara's product team and developer community.

• Advocate for customer experience and work collaboratively with the Developer Ecosystem team to enhance API experience and features.

• Contribute to the development of Professional Services methodologies and tools.

• Champion and exemplify Samsara's cultural principles.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in designing and developing integration solutions using established architecture methodologies.

• Proficient in gathering data integration requirements and converting them into technical data designs.

• Capability to write, read, and comprehend Python along with one additional programming language.

• Expertise in LLM-based tools for code generation, prompt engineering, automation, and enhancing developer productivity.

• Experience in designing, orchestrating, and deploying multi-agent systems for enterprise applications.

• At least 3 years of practical experience with modern cloud services: AWS, Azure, or GCP.

• Direct experience in building or working with RESTful APIs, Webhooks, and contemporary databases.

• Hands-on experience with customer evaluations and deployments, managing multiple engagements simultaneously.

• Ability to handle complex projects with stakeholders, including C-Level executives.

• Strong written communication and presentation abilities.

• Proficient in using GitHub for version control and collaboration.

• Familiarity with modern Agile tools such as Jira and Confluence.

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.

• Ideally, 3+ years of customer-facing experience in building and supporting enterprise-scale integrations or API scripting.

• Familiarity with B2B system integration projects and workflows.

• A consistent record of configuring and deploying complex technical solutions.
