This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York, +4 more states.
• Act as a reliable technical advisor for manufacturing clients, aiding them in leveraging data for digital transformation and operational resilience.
• Serve as the main technical expert throughout the sales process.
• Facilitate high-level discovery discussions regarding customers’ cybersecurity and performance issues.
• Design and architect Splunk implementations that aggregate data from enterprise IT environments, cloud architectures, and digital business systems.
• Create and present tailored product demonstrations and proof-of-concept initiatives.
• Showcase real-time threat detection, incident response automation, and the value of full-stack observability.
• Collaborate with Account Executives, Product Management, and Professional Services teams.
• Speak at industry events and internal meetings.
• Develop reusable technical resources, white papers, and demo environments for security and observability applications.
• Lead technical workshops and brainstorming sessions.
• Travel to client locations for on-site evaluations and strategic planning meetings as required.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in Pre-Sales Engineering, Solutions Architecture, or Technical Consulting.
• In-depth knowledge of contemporary security frameworks, including SIEM, SOAR, and threat detection.
• Familiarity with observability principles, encompassing APM and infrastructure monitoring.
• Capability to convey intricate technical concepts into business value for executive stakeholders.
• Experience with extensive data platforms or log management solutions.
• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in leading technical workshops and brainstorming sessions.
• Experience with cloud-native monitoring and security platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of microservices, containers, and Kubernetes.
• Skills in data modeling, Python, PowerShell, or Bash scripting, and API integration.
• Awareness of cybersecurity frameworks and enterprise IT compliance standards.
• Experience in a global manufacturing organization or a software provider that serves the manufacturing sector is preferred.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites for on-site assessments and strategic planning sessions.
• Splunk certification or equivalent platform expertise is highly desirable.
