Solutions Engineer – Mid-Market

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a strategic technical consultant for customers and Account Executives throughout the sales process.

• Drive discovery, technical qualification, customized demonstrations, and solution design for Mid-Market clients.

• Suggest technical solutions that align with customer use cases, business objectives, requirements, and decision-making criteria.

• Establish technical success metrics and ensure alignment among customer stakeholders.

• Mentor Account Executives on product functionalities and messaging tailored to specific customers.

• Provide education to customers regarding the 1Password product suite.

• Collaborate with teams across Product, Marketing, Sales Enablement, and Support.

• Share expertise and mentor colleagues within the Solutions Engineering team.

• Willingness to travel up to 25% as necessary.

• Participate in in-person onboarding sessions in Toronto.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in customer-facing technical sales, solutions engineering, or a comparable role in a B2B setting.

• Proven experience supporting complex sales processes for cybersecurity, identity security, or SaaS solutions.

• Familiarity with identity security concepts, including PAM, IGA, and related technologies.

• Capability to convey technical concepts into clear, engaging guidance for both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Excellent presentation, communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional collaboration abilities.

• Proficiency in managing multiple opportunities independently, adapting to evolving customer needs, and maintaining quality while meeting deadlines.

• Experience with structured sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC is preferred.

• Knowledge of SCIM, CLI, SAML, SSO, OAuth, AD, APIs, SSH, AI, and MCP is advantageous.

• Must reside in the United States and be aligned with the Mountain or Pacific time zones.

• Must already possess legal authorization to work in the listed countries; 1Password will not provide work authorization, relocation assistance, or visa sponsorship/transfers.
