Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ireland.

📋 Description

• Serve as the technical lead during presales, engaging with customers to comprehend their business objectives, technical challenges, and transformation goals.

• Create and present comprehensive solutions encompassing public cloud, hybrid and multi-cloud environments, enterprise infrastructure, networking, identity and access management, modern workplace solutions, backup and disaster recovery, and cybersecurity.

• Develop solution designs, project scopes, resource plans, and cost estimations.

• Conduct customer presentations, architecture workshops, technical demonstrations, and proof-of-concept initiatives.

• Assist project delivery teams to ensure that solutions adhere to the established architecture, governance, and best practices.

• Collaborate with account managers, delivery teams, vendors, and strategic partners.

• Generate solution proposals, architecture diagrams, bid responses, and implementation documentation.

• Keep abreast of emerging technologies, cloud innovations, networking trends, cybersecurity advancements, and vendor roadmaps.

• Contribute to managed services, go-to-market strategies, reusable solution frameworks, and sales enablement resources.

• Offer technical mentoring and guidance to team members.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in designing enterprise infrastructure and cloud solutions across AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.

• Strong understanding of hybrid cloud, cloud migration, modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.

• Experience in designing networking solutions including routing, switching, wireless, SD-WAN, VPNs, firewalls, and network security.

• Familiarity with virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix, or similar technologies.

• Experience with identity, authentication, and access management solutions such as Active Directory, Entra ID, Okta, or equivalent.

• Good grasp of cybersecurity principles including Zero Trust, endpoint protection, identity security, SIEM, backup, disaster recovery, and compliance.

• Proficiency in automation, scripting, and Infrastructure as Code utilizing Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, Python, or CloudFormation.

• Understanding of cloud governance, cost optimization, licensing, and commercial considerations.

• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and solution design capabilities.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• Demonstrated experience as a Solutions Architect, Technical Consultant, Presales Consultant, or a similar customer-facing technical role.

• Experience in delivering customer workshops, technical discovery sessions, and solution design engagements.

• Strong commercial awareness with experience supporting bids, proposals, and customer presentations.
