Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Sales and clients to gain insights into business objectives, existing processes, challenges, and desired results.

• Facilitate discovery sessions and convert intricate business requirements into effective solution designs.

• Utilize expertise in accounts payable and finance processes encompassing invoice handling, approvals, exceptions, vendor management, and related workflows.

• Create scalable and sustainable Vic.ai solutions that effectively balance customer needs with timely delivery of value.

• Counsel clients on leveraging AI to enhance accounts payable processes beyond mere automation.

• Produce solution architectures, process diagrams, requirements documentation, and presentation materials.

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility, pinpoint product deficiencies, and relay customer needs.

• Work alongside Implementation teams to ensure that solutions developed during the sales process are delivered successfully.

• Recognize risks, dependencies, edge cases, and downstream effects.

• Engage in customer presentations, technical discussions, demonstrations, and solution workshops.

• Assist clients in understanding trade-offs and making educated decisions regarding customization.

• Enhance solution design methodologies, documentation, and best practices.

• Create reusable solution patterns to speed up implementations and improve consistency.

• Experiment with AI tools, employing AI for research, analysis, documentation, problem-solving, and solution development.

• Disseminate effective AI practices among colleagues to boost organizational AI proficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience in accounts payable, finance operations, ERP, AP automation, or a related field.

• Background in a Solutions Architect, Solution Consultant, Technical Consultant, Sales Engineer, Implementation Consultant, or similar client-facing position.

• Profound understanding of accounts payable processes and the systems that support them.

• Capability to convert business requirements into both technical and functional solutions.

• Ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Exceptional discovery skills.

• Experience with ERP systems and financial data and workflow integrations.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capacity to handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.

• Sound judgment in regard to configuration, customization, and complex customer requirements.

• Consultative mindset with a genuine curiosity about business operations.

• Proven willingness and capability to utilize AI extensively in everyday tasks.

• Proficient in using AI for researching, analyzing, documenting, prototyping, communicating, and problem-solving.
