This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assess and evaluate customer requirements and needs, translating them into cutting-edge solution designs that align customer business objectives with Mujin's product offerings.
• Ensure that technical scoping is finalized before proposal expectations are set, aligning scope, feasibility, and constraints early in the sales process.
• Determine customer automation needs through direct discussions.
• Clearly present company solutions to customers, ensuring fluid communication while documenting outcomes and subsequent steps.
• Demonstrate persistence and determination in finding solutions for technical challenges.
• Analyze designs based on cost, value, functionality, requirements, and associated risks.
• Produce professional-level layouts using AutoCAD.
• Analyze customer data, identifying and breaking down system flows effectively.
• Be dependable, providing prompt responses and consistent follow-ups.
• Prepare documentation for product and solution proposals.
• Document and support departmental operating procedures.
• Create proposal estimates, including ROM, budgetary, and firm estimates with meticulous attention to detail concerning material and labor scope.
• Conduct preliminary technical risk assessments focused on layout feasibility, throughput constraints, gripper fitting, payload limits, vision system limitations, software scope, and site-specific challenges.
• Accurately identify and monitor known factors, missing elements, assumptions, dependencies, and blockers throughout each opportunity.
• Utilize Salesforce, Wrike, and the company ERP system to keep accurate records of opportunities, including proposal status, outstanding items, and information needed from internal and external stakeholders.
• Draft and present proposals in an engaging, clear, and persuasive manner to customers.
• Cultivate a strong focus on customer success and foster positive working relationships with clients.
• Handle multiple sales projects concurrently.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks is essential.
• Over 5 years of experience in a related role demonstrating effective time management, organizational skills, teamwork, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
• Comprehensive knowledge of Warehouse, Parcel, Automotive, and 3PL systems.
• Familiarity with various automation solutions, including conveying, ASRS, goods-to-person systems, sortation, palletizing, depalletizing, piece picking, automated vehicles, and industrial/collaborative robots.
