
Solutions Engineer – Bilingual French/English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with sales teams and business partners to define solutions for service providers, partners, and end customers.
• Serve as an Acronis technology expert in meetings, delivering demos and presenting products throughout the sales cycle.
• Engage with customers, partners, and internal teams to organize activities for promoting Acronis solutions.
• Analyze business needs, market strategies, and policies related to data protection.
• Manage strategic accounts in partnership with Acronis Account Managers to shape and enhance sales strategies.
• Facilitate customer evaluations and proof-of-concept engagements for Acronis solutions.
• Execute technical troubleshooting and secure technical wins during the pre-sales phase.
• Position solutions that resolve customer business challenges and act as a trusted technical advisor.
• Conduct hands-on demonstrations and transfer knowledge of Acronis solutions to customers and partners.
• Collect technical requirements, create cost-effective solutions, and present them to potential clients.
• Develop responses to Requests for Information (RFIs) and Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Assist in integrating Managed Service Providers’ Remote Monitoring and Management (RMM) platforms with the Acronis platform and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams.
• Comprehend complex customer needs and devise innovative solutions.
• Provide customer and market feedback to Product Management, Engineering, and other Acronis teams.
• Position and support Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS) solutions, including hosting and managing virtual machines (VMs) within the Acronis platform.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in a related role.
• Familiarity with cloud-based applications such as Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace.
• Experience in designing Backup, Disaster Recovery, and Storage solutions.
• Security experience in one or more of the following areas: Antivirus/Ransomware Protection, EDR/MDR/XDR, Email Security, Network Security.
• Knowledge of Microsoft operating systems (knowledge of Linux or other operating systems is advantageous).
• Ability to clearly articulate both technical concepts and business value propositions.
• Experience with customer engagement and sales opportunity management practices.
• Strong listening skills, creativity, intuition, and a team-oriented approach with effective problem-solving abilities.
• High level of discipline, attention to detail, and capacity to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, present, and negotiate effectively with both technical and business audiences.
• Fluency in English and French (written and spoken), capable of confidently delivering technical presentations, demos, and customer engagements in both languages.
• Experience supporting bilingual (English/French) customers or partners, including the ability to accurately translate technical concepts and documentation between languages.
• Ability to collaborate across international and multicultural teams.
