This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ You will be integrated directly with client engineering teams β immersed in their codebases, participating in their standups, and addressing their challenges.
β’ Your role involves bridging the activation gap: conducting discovery to understand the current engineering practices, pinpointing where existing SDLC processes fail when you introduce coding agents, and reshaping how teams deliver software. You'll facilitate change through collaborative building and learning by example.
β’ Collaborate with clients within their codebases, showcasing agentic workflows in real-time.
β’ Partner with individual engineers to help them transition from "I tried it" to "this has transformed my daily work."
β’ Teach through practical application, making codebases more agent-friendly by implementing rules files, custom skills, MCPs, etc.
β’ Conduct discovery sessions with engineering leadership to identify the true sources of workflow friction β rather than relying on assumptions.
β’ Analyze how existing SDLC processes falter upon the introduction of coding agents β such as QA bottlenecks, inadequately scoped requirements, and review backlog β and redesign them accordingly.
β’ Develop and implement upskilling programs tailored to the client's technology stack and organizational culture, avoiding generic content.
β’ Document successful strategies and provide feedback to the practice β contributing to the development of the playbook, rather than merely executing it.
β’ Recognize and document repeatable patterns across different engagements and help inform how Tribe expands this service.
β’ You have genuinely reorganized your workflow around agentic coding tools β with Claude Code or Codex as your primary tools, and you can clearly articulate the specific changes that resulted.
β’ You possess significant experience within large engineering organizations (100+ engineers) and understand the dynamics of enterprise operations.
β’ You have consulting or related experience, or have led developer productivity/DX initiatives from within an AI-focused company.
β’ You find the enterprise transformation challenge genuinely engaging, not just a necessary obligation.
β’ You thrive on elevating the entire team β not just those engineers who are already enthusiastic.
β’ Impact: Be at the forefront of how enterprises genuinely adopt agentic coding β not just in theory, but within actual codebases facing real constraints.
