This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
β’ Conduct demonstrations tailored to the specific challenges and data of the prospect, encompassing our Support, Shopping, Social, Reviews, and Voice agents as well as Siena Intelligence.
β’ Facilitate live technical discovery and validation sessions: analyze the prospectβs technology stack, provide honest answers to βcan it do X?β, and suggest solutions when the standard product does not meet their needs.
β’ Oversee and update the demo environment and asset library (including live demos, video materials, and scenario flows) to ensure the entire GTM team can sell effectively.
β’ Assist in the preparation of RFPs and security questionnaires.
β’ Manage comprehensive multi-week POC/trial programs from start to finish: initiation, integration connection, journey and automation development, weekly working sessions, quality assurance, troubleshooting, and final reporting.
β’ Produce clear technical handoffs to enable the Deployment team to guide the customer post-go-live.
β’ Define the scope of integrations within the e-commerce customer experience stack; make decisions regarding native versus custom builds, collaborating with Engineering on development priorities.
β’ Develop and test integrations personally β create custom actions, and validate them in Postman against live or sandbox endpoints.
β’ Prepare, define, and estimate Statements of Work for custom configuration and integration projects, translating feasibility into realistic efforts and costs.
β’ Serve as the crucial link among Sales, Engineering, Product, and Customer Success β managing customer issues, logging well-defined Linear tickets, and escalating to the appropriate stakeholders.
β’ Function as the feedback conduit from the field to product development: present tangible product gaps and roadmap suggestions during product reviews, grounded in actual deals.
β’ Assist in pricing discussions with a focus on the technical ROI and volume analysis (the Account Executive manages commercial terms).
β’ Contribute to internal training efforts β instructing AEs and CSMs on demonstrations and creating reusable training materials.
β’ 3β5+ years of experience as a Solutions/Sales Engineer (pre-sales) in B2B SaaS, with a proven track record of managing demos and POCs independently.
β’ Proficiency with APIs, webhooks, and authentication methods; comfortable interpreting API documentation, testing in Postman, and assessing integration viability. You should be capable of executing builds.
β’ Familiarity with the ecosystem: Shopify and helpdesk solutions (such as Gorgias, Zendesk, Kustomer, Dixa, or equivalents), as well as related tools for returns, subscriptions, reviews, loyalty, and post-purchase processes. Broad knowledge across the stack is more valuable than deep expertise in a single tool.
β’ A unique ability to convey AI and technical concepts clearly to non-technical customer experience or commerce leaders, as well as to compose concise Statements of Work, RFP responses, and technical handoffs.
β’ Ability to prioritize multiple simultaneous deals in a fast-paced startup environment β and to establish your own processes and leverage (including utilizing AI tools).
