Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Assist in qualifying and closing opportunities with clients and partners.

• Offer technical knowledge through sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical assessments.

• Collaborate with the sales team to present Redpanda to prospective clients.

• Conduct product and solution briefings.

• Create proof-of-concepts (POCs).

• Execute live product demonstrations.

• Develop prototypes for Redpanda integrations.

• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and support teams to address customer challenges and enhance the customer experience.

• Recognize key technical objections from customers.

• Formulate strategies to overcome adoption barriers.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–8+ years of experience in leading presentations, gathering requirements, creating solution architectures, and instructing prospective users or project teams on using similar software.

• Proficient in developing and prototyping solutions using Java, Python, Go, and JavaScript.

• Strong knowledge of modern infrastructure and streaming technologies, with a preference for the Kafka ecosystem.

• Excellent capability to establish relationships with partners, customers, and open-source users.

• Experience in demonstrating technical concepts, including through presentations and whiteboarding sessions.

• A collaborative mindset and a focus on customer feedback.

• Willingness to travel for customer meetings, events, or conferences.

• Familiarity with Linux and Kubernetes.

• Proficient in one or more of AWS, GCP, and Azure.
