This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create and present technical demonstrations that explain products and services to both current and potential customers.
• Assist Account Executives and Account Managers by providing technical demonstrations that address unique workflows, third-party integrations, or other novel challenges.
• Collaborate with sales executives to plan and deliver presentations for large enterprise deals.
• Participate in on-site demonstrations for enterprise clients, involving 10-20% travel.
• Utilize innovative technology during the sales process to identify additional problem areas.
• Attend and actively engage in weekly and quarterly sales meetings and customer success meetings.
• Build trusted relationships with prospects by leveraging an understanding of their business requirements to comprehend their needs influencing product changes.
• Participate in development daily standups and quarterly strategy discussions.
• Gather and document competitive intelligence.
• Clearly convey client and prospect needs to the product team for future enhancements.
• Organize themes and trends expressed by prospects during the sales cycle and communicate effectively with the executive and product teams.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Solutions Engineer or in a comparable professional position.
• Familiarity with or direct experience in software development.
• Hands-on experience with building or industrial automation systems.
• Proven capability to effectively integrate various software packages.
• A strong eagerness to learn new technologies and apply them to real-world business challenges, demonstrating high coachability and quick adaptability.
• Exceptional attention to detail combined with excellent task management and organizational skills.
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with others, especially over the phone.
• Strong problem-solving skills to address prospect and customer issues by attentively listening, identifying core needs, and aligning solutions with FMX.
