Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Emphasize the pre-sales experience by collaborating with potential clients to assess CoLab's applicability in their workflows and engineering challenges.

• Collaborate with current customers to facilitate intricate deployments and enhance team collaboration.

• Develop and present captivating, tailored demonstrations that highlight how CoLab resolves customer issues and provides distinctive value.

• Team up with Account Executives and Customer Success Managers to address complex customer challenges across various mechanical design and engineering scenarios.

• Gain insights into a customer's existing workflows, challenges, and how they correlate to business outcomes.

• Serve as a trusted advisor to both customers and prospects regarding the possibilities of AI within the realm of mechanical engineering today and in the future.

• Communicate customer feedback to the Product team to ensure we are continually developing solutions that meet customer needs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Possess extensive industry experience—whether in automotive, aerospace, heavy machinery, medical devices, or other intricate mechanical sectors.

• Comfortable presenting ideas in both casual settings, like a whiteboard session, and formal environments, such as a C-level boardroom, translating engineering challenges into business results.

• Capable of collaborating across various departments including Sales, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams.

• Excellent communicator, skilled at adjusting technical discussions for diverse audiences.

• Proficient in managing several strategic and tactical projects simultaneously.

• Recognized as an industry domain expert with extensive knowledge of CAD/PLM tools.

• Ability to understand use cases and demonstrate industry expertise to build trust with customers.

• Skilled at simplifying complex topics into easily understandable information.
