Solutions Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Oversee the onboarding and transfer of data for client implementations.

• Create and document requirements and processes for data onboarding.

• Establish an operational framework to foster ongoing enhancements to client delivery models and value.

• Work in partnership with Product, Engineering, and Machine Learning teams to provide and advance scalable data onboarding and data health solutions.

• Ensure alignment of data onboarding and data health solutions with overarching strategies and objectives.

• Assist in the design, cleanup, and upkeep of client data and data architecture for data ingestion workflows.

• Deliver data management training and encourage data fluency throughout the organization.

• Manage data effectively while enhancing operational efficiency and minimizing risk.

• Act as a business and technical leader for intricate data solutions for enterprise clients.

• Own and enhance the data function in a dynamic, agile startup environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in solutions engineering or architecture.

• Familiarity with Enterprise B2B SaaS.

• Proven business and technical leadership for complex and advanced data solutions aimed at enterprise clients.

• Proficiency in Pandas, Google BigQuery, DBT, and data analytics/BI reporting tools like Looker or Looker Studio.

• Technical knowledge, analytical abilities, and business insight to devise innovative solutions.

• Strong relationship-building and communication skills.

• Understanding of RDBMS, database schema concepts, and ETL pipelines.

• Knowledge of AI/ML methodologies.

• Capacity to thrive in a fast-paced, agile startup setting.

• Video interview is mandatory.
