Solutions Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide technical guidance and expertise throughout the customer’s security transformation journey.

• Develop technical solutions that safeguard a customer’s critical business objectives.

• Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, and Specialist teams.

• Encourage customer engagement with the Palo Alto Networks Platform.

• Execute discovery processes to comprehend and articulate essential technical, operational, and commercial priorities.

• Exhibit excellent communication capabilities via presentations and workshops.

• Lead successful technical validation initiatives based on industry best practices.

• Advocate for comprehensive solutions alongside PANW and/or partner professional services.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of experience in pre-sales or sales engineering.

• Proficient in at least one of the following areas: Networking, Network Security, Cybersecurity, Private/Public Cloud Security, SOC/Endpoint, or SASE.

• Preferred experience in delivering cybersecurity solutions that address technical challenges and drive new business initiatives.

• Ability to influence and secure buy-in from key stakeholders, whether in a customer-facing or internal capacity; prior pre-sales experience is advantageous.

• Competence in creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation sessions.

• Experience in selling, designing, implementing, or managing one or more of the following solutions: Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP, and/or SOC Transformation Technologies.

• Collaborate with Customer Support functions to ensure the successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions.

• Experience in complex sales involving lengthy sales cycles with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions is preferred.
