This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Directly engage with prospects, customers, and internal teams to pinpoint the clinical and operational workflows that drive their business.
• Convert workflow insights into comprehensive, end-to-end solution proposals that clearly illustrate how Canvas can meet their needs.
• Balance immediate requirements of prospects with scalable solutions for future growth.
• Document insights and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance team effectiveness.
• Create MVP versions of proposed solutions as Canvas plugins utilizing agent-assisted development tools such as Claude Code.
• Develop and implement agents with potential customers throughout the sales process, transforming proposed workflows into live automation for firsthand evaluation.
• Showcase working prototypes during the sales process, demonstrating proficiency in event-driven design, handlers, and effects.
• Rapidly iterate on prototypes based on feedback from prospects during active sales cycles.
• Establish and maintain reusable solution patterns and playbooks that expedite future engagements.
• Collaborate with sales, customer success, implementation, engineering, and product teams to ensure alignment on proposals, handoffs, and feedback loops.
• Bridge the gap between business and technical contexts to effectively advance deals.
• Identify and monitor quality signals (proposal-to-close flow, prototype adoption, prospect feedback) to inform iterations.
• Shadow senior team members while gradually taking ownership of less complex engagements independently.
• Recent graduate or an early-career candidate in Computer Science, Health Informatics, Engineering, UX, Applied Data, or a related field.
• Comfortable and experienced with AI and agent-assisted development tools, particularly Claude Code and similar platforms.
• Strong interest in healthcare technology and EMR systems, with a desire to enhance provider and patient workflows.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt in uncertain environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of breaking down complex contexts into clear proposals.
• Experience in building with AI coding assistants and agentic development workflows; formal software development experience is preferred but not required.
• Comfortable learning and working with modern SDKs, APIs, and plugin-based architectures.
• Willingness to dive into concepts such as event-driven design, handlers, and effects.
• Ability to identify leverage points and reusable solution patterns.
• Understanding of challenges in healthcare delivery and pain points in provider workflows.
• Interest in healthcare automation and enhancing clinical operations through software.
• Capability to engage with clinical, operational, and financial stakeholders.
• Naturally collaborative and thrives in environments involving growth and technical teams.
• Possesses a growth mindset with a rapid learning tempo.
• Skilled in managing productive tension and comfortable navigating trade-offs.
• Enthusiastic about AI and eager to apply new tools while respecting real-world constraints.
• Formal software development experience or coursework (Python, JavaScript, or similar) is a plus.
• Familiarity with building or working with SDKs, frontend/backend integrations, or plugin architectures is advantageous.
• Awareness of healthcare data workflows, standards, or provider-facing tools is a bonus.
• Experience in drafting solution proposals, specifications, or mockups for technical systems is desirable.
• Prior customer-facing experience in a technical role (internships, support, technical project work) is a plus.
