Solutions Architect – Service Provider

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Dakota, +2 more states.

📋 Description

• Deliver technical expertise and credibility to the account team in the specified focus area.

• Conduct customer presentations showcasing the ePlus value proposition and technical solution sets for assigned accounts.

• Support sales account managers with comprehensive account planning.

• Assist sales account managers with project management for intricate presales engagements.

• Complete the technical sections for RFP/RFI/RFQ responses related to assigned accounts.

• Gather customer business and technical requirements and propose ePlus recommended solutions.

• Create solution architecture and detailed line-item configurations or bills of material (BOMs).

• Prepare proposals and/or presentations for recommended solutions.

• Aid in the technical scoping and review of Statements of Work (SOWs) for assigned accounts.

• Act as a liaison to end-user customer technical staff regarding specifics of the solution and its implementation.

• Serve as a technical liaison and ePlus ambassador with field OEM sales and technical teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in telecommunications or service provider engineering roles.

• A college degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• Certifications in relevant technology are preferred.

• Extensive hands-on experience with high-end routing platforms (e.g., Cisco ASR 9000, Juniper MX series).

• Strong background in optical networking technologies (e.g., DWDM, OTN, ROADMs).

• In-depth knowledge of protocols (e.g., BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, OSPF).

• Proven capability to integrate routing and optical technologies into unified network solutions.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail.
