Solutions Architect – SAP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Collaborate closely with our Engineering, Product, and Design (EPD) teams while reporting to Engineering to create, sustain, and enhance Zip-owned ERP and integration templates that facilitate scalable and repeatable customer implementations.

• Design and standardize SAP integrations: Develop, maintain, and improve Zip’s fundamental SAP (ECC and S/4HANA) and Ariba integration templates.

• Connect product and field insights: Ensure that integration templates remain consistent with core product architecture, field insights, and evolving customer demands.

• Transform nuance into scalability: Analyze customer implementations to uncover reusable data mapping patterns and system intricacies.

• Assist in pre-sales engineering: Collaborate with account teams during pre-sales phases to design and evaluate integration architectures.

• Promote technical implementation excellence: Define, document, and advocate for best practices in technical solution consulting.

• Become a Multi-ERP specialist: Utilize existing expertise in SAP, P2P, and relevant modules (MM/FI).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of hands-on experience in delivering integrations with SAP ERP environments (ECC, S/4HANA) or procurement platforms (Ariba).

• Strong foundational understanding of essential SAP business processes and data models within Materials Management (MM) and Financials (FI).

• Familiarity with standard SAP integration methods, including IDocs, BAPI/RFC, OData APIs, or SAP BTP/CPI.

• Experience with iPaaS tools is a plus.

• Proven experience working with XML / REST-based endpoints and standard authentication protocols.

• Prior experience in ERP implementation, integration, configuration, or administration is required.

• Ability to convey highly technical information to audiences with varying levels of technical expertise.

• Comfortable engaging with API documentation.

• Capable of testing and resolving integration errors effectively.

• Proficient in understanding customer requirements and documenting them swiftly with minimal oversight.

• A committed learner, open to acquiring new technologies that Zip may adopt in the future.

• Experience collaborating with product and engineering teams.
