Solutions Architect, OpenText xECM for SAP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Design and execute OpenText Extended ECM solutions that are integrated with SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite.

• Create comprehensive views linking structured SAP data with unstructured content.

• Build tailored OpenText ECM workspaces for procurement, employee records, and asset lifecycle management.

• Integrate Extended ECM with SAP utilizing ArchiveLink, CMIS, SAP Fiori, APIs, and middleware.

• Develop strategies for SAP data and document archiving.

• Work collaboratively with SAP teams across finance, HR, procurement, and engineering functions.

• Oversee the lifecycles of unstructured content, including metadata, classification, governance, and compliance with records management.

• Implement automated workflows for processes such as invoice management, HR onboarding, and document control in engineering.

• Lead deployments in cloud, on-premises, and hybrid settings, integrating services like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Ensure alignment of ECM solutions with SAP RISE and GROW initiatives.

• Create custom solutions and automations using programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or ABAP.

• Incorporate AI-driven capabilities, including OpenText Content Aviator and SAP Joule.

• Direct blueprinting, architecture, installation, configuration, and testing activities for SAP projects.

• Manage the migration of data from legacy ECM systems and assist with SAP upgrades.

• Lead and mentor implementation teams while collaborating with Professional Services, SAP Basis, developers, and business analysts.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to assess content management requirements and enhance operational efficiency and compliance.

• Report directly to the Director of Delivery.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.

• 5–10+ years of experience in enterprise content management, SAP integrations, or similar areas.

• Practical experience in implementing OpenText Extended ECM specifically for SAP solutions.

• In-depth knowledge of OpenText Extended ECM alongside SAP S/4HANA, SAP SuccessFactors, and SAP Business Suite.

• Strong understanding of SAP ArchiveLink, CMIS, SAP Fiori, and strategies for data/document archiving.

• Competence in content management best practices, including metadata management and compliance standards.

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Proficient in programming languages like Java, JavaScript, or ABAP, or in low-code/no-code configurations within OpenText tools.

• Capability to align SAP business processes with content management requirements across finance, HR, procurement, and plant maintenance.

• Expertise in SAP FI, PM, PS, and MM business processes.

• Strong knowledge of OpenText Fastrack or comparable solution design and implementation methodologies.

• Excellent skills in problem-solving, communication, analysis, leadership, mentoring, and adaptability.

• OpenText and SAP certifications are highly preferred, though not mandatory.
