This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of the entire technical relationship for strategic deals, from the initial demonstration to post-sale implementation, acting as the customer's trusted advisor and main technical contact.
• Create and present customized demos and proof of concepts (POCs) that illustrate how Roadrunner’s PQA stack integrates with a customer's current CRM, ERP, and overall enterprise architecture.
• Collaborate with the Sales team to qualify opportunities, establish technical credibility with IT and business stakeholders, and address technical challenges early in the sales process.
• Oversee the technical onboarding process post-sale: gather requirements, design integration solutions, and collaborate closely with implementation engineers to successfully launch and scale customer operations.
• Convert real-world customer requirements into actionable insights for the Engineering and Product teams.
• Create reusable resources, such as playbooks, technical documentation, demo environments, and integration patterns, to enhance the overall go-to-market strategy.
• Proven experience in solutions engineering, solutions architecture, or technical consulting, with a history of managing complex enterprise deals or implementations from start to finish.
• Ability to confidently engage with both technical teams and executive stakeholders.
• Practical knowledge of CPQ and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, SAP CPQ, HubSpot), along with a solid understanding of enterprise quoting, pricing, and approval workflows.
• Familiarity with ERP platforms (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar) and their integration with the overall revenue stack, including order management, billing, and revenue recognition.
• Capability to design and explain API-based integrations between enterprise systems; comfortable with reading API documentation, creating simple scripts, and troubleshooting data flows.
• Excellent communication skills - able to simplify complex technical architectures into clear, engaging narratives for business audiences and vice versa.
• Willingness to spend time in San Francisco during onboarding and travel as required.
