📋 Description

• **Pre-Sales & Customer Engagement**

• - Facilitate technical discovery sessions to comprehend customer needs, current environments, constraints, and criteria for success.

• - Serve as the technical authority during client meetings, addressing inquiries related to AWS AI, ML, GenAI, data platforms, and migrations.

• - Convert business and modernization objectives into technical requirements and overarching solution designs.

• - Collaborate with Account Executives during AWS co-sell initiatives to verify use cases, migration pathways, and technical compatibility.

• - Act as a reliable technical advisor to clients throughout the pre-sales journey.

• **AWS Architecture, Modernization & Migration Design**

• - Develop reference architectures that adhere to AWS Well-Architected Framework principles.

• - Outline **cloud migration and modernization strategies**, which include:

• - Rehosting, replatforming, refactoring, and hybrid approaches.

• - Database migrations (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, etc.).

• - Sequencing for application and data migrations.

• - Produce clear, reusable architecture diagrams that encompass:

• - AI/ML and GenAI pipelines.

• - Agent-based systems.

• - Data lakes and analytics platforms.

• - Migrations of applications, databases, and infrastructure.

• - Choose and justify suitable AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Redshift, Bedrock, SageMaker, Lambda, ECS/EKS, DMS).

• - Clearly articulate architectural trade-offs, migration risks, and implementation options to both technical and non-technical audiences.

• **AI, ML & Data Expertise**

• - Define AI and ML solutions, covering data ingestion, feature engineering, training, inference, and MLOps workflows.

• - Design Generative AI architectures utilizing AWS services such as Bedrock, SageMaker, vector databases, and RAG patterns.

• - Architect modern data platforms featuring batch and streaming pipelines, analytics layers, and visualization tools.

• - Ensure that solution designs conform to governance, security, compliance, and data residency standards.

• **Costing, Estimation & Planning**

• - Create AWS cost estimates using the AWS Pricing Calculator.

• - Provide high-level implementation timelines and phased delivery plans, including migration sequencing.

• - Identify cost drivers, scaling considerations, and optimization opportunities early in the sales process.

• - Assist in the development of proposals and Statements of Work (SOW) by supplying:

• - Technical scope and migration assumptions.

• - Dependencies, risks, and constraints.

• - Provide the necessary technical input for AWS funding requests (e.g., PoCs, migrations, credits) in collaboration with the Account Executive.

• **Internal Collaboration & Enablement**

• - Work with delivery and engineering teams to verify feasibility, migration methods, and scope prior to deal closure.

• - Ensure a seamless transition from pre-sales to delivery with documented architectures, migration strategies, and assumptions.

• - Share insights on customer needs, technical trends, and emerging AWS services.

⛳️ Requirements

• **Required**

• - Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

• - Demonstrated experience in a Solutions Architect, Technical Architect, Pre-Sales Consultant, or consulting role.

• - Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services, including AI/ML, data platforms, and migration services.

• - Experience in designing or discussing:

• - Cloud and application migrations.

• - Data and database modernization.

• - Analytics and AI/ML workloads.

• - Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.

• - Strong problem-solving aptitude with a customer-first approach.

• **Preferred**

• - AWS certifications (Solutions Architect, GenAI, ML Specialty).

• - Experience in supporting AWS migration programs or co-sell initiatives.

• - Familiarity with CRM and opportunity tracking systems.

• - Previous experience in contributing to proposals, SOWs, or AWS funding submissions.
