Solutions Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Architecture Design & Implementation: Spearhead the creation of robust architectures tailored to the specific needs of clients. Actively implement these solutions to ensure they are scalable and maintainable.

• API Design & Integration: Develop and integrate APIs that facilitate seamless communication between systems, thus enhancing overall performance.

• Technical Leadership: Mentor and guide engineering teams, conduct thorough code reviews, and establish technical standards. Participate in technical spikes to investigate new technologies and methodologies.

• Client Interaction: Collaborate closely with clients to gain insight into their business objectives, present technical solutions, and adapt strategies based on their feedback.

• DevOps & Release Management: Design, establish, and oversee CI/CD pipelines. Manage deployment processes to guarantee smooth and reliable releases.

• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Quickly address and resolve technical issues to minimize disruptions to project timelines.

• Adaptability: Engage in a variety of projects, ranging from API design to live team support and full-time DevOps, adjusting your skill set to meet diverse client requirements.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 7-10 years of experience in software engineering, ideally within a consulting environment or as a member of a cross-functional product team.

• Proven experience in developing consumer-facing native mobile and web applications, with a strong command of the native languages and core frameworks.

• Demonstrated ability in architecting, developing, maintaining, and scaling modern software across various platforms.

• Proficient in designing, setting up, and maintaining DevOps pipelines using a variety of tools and techniques.

• Expertise in designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and handling complex deployments, including scripting skills (Unix shell, Ruby, Perl, etc.).

• Experience in designing APIs and writing detailed API specifications.

• Capacity to clearly communicate technical requirements to fellow engineers.

• Understanding of computer networking (e.g., VPNs, SSH, Wi-Fi) along with experience in setting up, maintaining, and troubleshooting networks.

• A strong awareness of security: able to foresee potential risks and think proactively.

• Ability to comprehend client expectations, evaluate the team’s progress, and motivate the team to meet those expectations successfully.

• Work samples that showcase performant, well-organized code along with clean, well-implemented user interfaces.

• A knack for direct communication with clients, managing expectations, and explaining complex technical concepts and their implications.

• Exceptional communication skills with a strong ability to present and defend technical and architectural decisions convincingly.
