This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Assist engineering teams in embracing AI-native development.
• Implement Cursor in key engineering divisions.
• Set up environments, create workflows, and conduct hands-on training sessions.
• Enable developers to weave Cursor into real-world production workflows rather than mere demos.
• Accelerate time-to-value and ensure sustainable adoption across teams.
• Detect workflow friction and address issues promptly.
• Broaden Cursor's presence within the organization.
• Determine the next areas for Cursor's expansion within the customer environment.
• Aid engineering teams in transitioning from isolated usage to widespread adoption.
• Craft rollout strategies for new workflows, teams, and platform groups.
• Collaborate with customers to implement AI-assisted development on a large scale.
• Work closely with Account Executives during significant expansion phases.
• Establish yourself as a trusted technical partner.
• Cultivate strong relationships with developers, platform teams, engineering leadership, and executive stakeholders.
• Facilitate architecture reviews, technical workshops, and strategic planning sessions.
• Provide guidance on developer productivity, workflow design, governance, and AI adoption strategies.
• Coordinate with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Customer Success to remove obstacles hindering customer progress.
• Assist organizations in managing workflow and operational changes as AI-native development progresses.
• Drive tangible customer outcomes.
• Help customers convert adoption into measurable engineering results.
• Link Cursor usage to benefits such as quicker iteration cycles, enhanced developer productivity, workflow efficiency, and improved engineering quality.
• Aid customers in demonstrating the value of Cursor internally and generating momentum for broader adoption.
• Transform successful deployments into consistent workflow patterns throughout the organization.
• Make Cursor an indispensable tool.
• Enhance workflow adoption and ensure long-term product retention.
• Monitor competitive risks and assist customers in standardizing on Cursor over time.
• Support recovery initiatives when adoption declines or competing tools gain popularity.
• Help customers develop workflows they can’t envision operating without.
• Influence the future of the product.
• Gather structured feedback from strategic customers for Product and Engineering.
• Recognize emerging workflow patterns, friction points, and enterprise needs.
• Contribute to the development of new capabilities through lighthouse customers and design partnerships.
• Convert successful customer workflows into reusable playbooks and reference patterns.
• A robust technical background in software engineering, infrastructure, DevOps, platform engineering, or developer tooling.
• Experience in customer-facing technical roles such as Solution Architect, Solutions Engineer, Forward Deployed Engineer, Technical Account Manager, Enterprise Architect, or similar positions.
• Capability to work directly with engineering teams while also engaging strategically with technical leadership.
• A solid understanding of developer workflows, SDLC tooling, integrations, CI/CD systems, governance, and enterprise engineering environments.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and executive audiences.
• Strong intuition regarding workflow design, adoption strategies, and facilitating workflow changes across engineering teams.
• High sense of ownership, strong execution capabilities, and comfort in fast-paced environments with ambiguity.
• A passion for developer tools and a strong belief in how AI will transform software engineering.
