This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Identify, target, and secure new customers and application opportunities within the Non-Food segments across Europe, which include Plastics, Personal Care, and related markets.
• Propel new business development efforts while overseeing selected strategic accounts.
• Create and sustain a robust and accurately forecasted sales pipeline, from lead generation to contract finalization.
• Conduct customer meetings and commercial discussions, leveraging a solid technical foundation in polymer technologies.
• Convert customer requirements into value-driven solution proposals in partnership with the Application, R&D, and Product Management teams.
• Assist in the commercial launch and rollout of new innovations.
• Track market trends and competitive activities to identify new growth opportunities.
• A degree in Polymer Technology, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong technical knowledge of polymers/biopolymers and polymer-based applications in commercial contexts.
• Demonstrated experience in technical sales, account management, or similar commercial positions within the Personal Care ingredients, specialty chemicals, or formulation-driven sectors.
• A proactive and opportunity-oriented commercial mindset with excellent relationship-building abilities.
• Proficient in English communication, with additional European language skills being advantageous.
• Willingness to travel throughout the region at least 50% of the time.
• A pivotal commercial position in a strategically important growth sector.
