This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Define, document, and enhance the organization's system and solution architecture;
• Create technical solutions that are in line with business requirements and corporate standards;
• Act as a technical reference for development teams, particularly for solutions utilizing C#/.NET;
• Conduct architectural assessments and provide support for technical code evaluations (structural code reviews);
• Ensure that the implemented solutions are scalable, performant, secure, and resilient;
• Establish development standards and best practices for C# applications and the .NET ecosystem;
• Assist in making decisions regarding frameworks, libraries, and tools within the Microsoft stack;
• Carry out proofs of concept (POCs) and analyses of technical feasibility;
• Support modernization initiatives for legacy C# applications to contemporary architectures (e.g., microservices and cloud);
• Collaborate closely with security, data, and governance teams to ensure compliance;
• Prepare technical documentation and architecture diagrams (logical, physical, and integration);
• Assist in technical estimations and planning for strategic projects;
• Identify technical risks and suggest mitigation strategies.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field;
• Postgraduate degree or specialization in Software Architecture, Cloud, or related fields (preferred);
• Extensive experience in a Software Architect, Solutions Architect, or a similar role;
• Demonstrated expertise with the .NET platform (Framework and/or .NET Core/.NET 6+);
• Advanced programming proficiency in C# (focusing on object-oriented programming, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Clean Architecture);
• Experience in modernizing legacy applications;
• Background in medium to large corporate environments;
• Familiarity with cloud architecture (AWS, Azure, or GCP);
• Expertise in ASP.NET Core, Web APIs, and RESTful service development;
• Knowledge of microservices and/or SOA architecture;
• Experience with RESTful APIs and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar);
• Proficiency in containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes);
• Understanding of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines;
• Skills in data modeling and data architecture (SQL Server or other relational databases);
• Knowledge of application security (OAuth2, OpenID Connect, JWT);
• Familiarity with architectural frameworks and best practices (e.g., TOGAF – differential).
