This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.
• Meeting the sales objectives established by the Company
• Crafting the Annual Operating Plan and Long Range Plan based on the targets defined for the region
• Structuring and organizing sales activities
• Conducting regular visits to key Customers, Opportunities/Leads, and Distributors
• Assisting the sales team with other Customers, Opportunities, and Distributors within their territory
• Overseeing specific Global/European Accounts in the region
• Aiding in the development of growth strategies and (European) pricing agreements for those Accounts
• Generating new business and sales opportunities
• Identifying potential new markets for (new) products and (new) services
• Gathering data and reporting on market trends, competitive offerings, and pricing
• Refreshing the CRM database with the most current information
• Updating the status of ongoing sales opportunities
• Executing sales and marketing initiatives for targeted markets, products, or product categories
• Managing the designated geographical area (territory)
• Negotiating local contracts and agreements
• Providing Local Technical Support to customers and distributors
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical or Technical Engineering
• Multiple years of commercial experience, ideally in the high-value B2B consumable goods sector
• Alternatively, a Master’s degree in Metalworking
• Background in the Metal Working / Metal Working Fluids industry or Industrial Lubricants
• Entrepreneurial mindset
• Exceptional interpersonal skills
• Strong communication, sales, and presentation abilities
• Proficiency in German as a native language and English language skills are preferred
