This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Provide technical sales support throughout the sales process to enhance opportunities and generate revenue.
• Deliver and tailor technical sales presentations on Toppan Merrill products and services, while creating new presentations for the sales team and Client Advisory Services (“CAS”).
• Clarify product capabilities, limitations, and implementation requirements, while outlining technical trade-offs and alternatives to optimize revenue potential.
• Actively engage in sales calls that involve intricate technical requirements or multiple hardware platforms, serving as the primary “technical” resource throughout the sales process.
• Identify and devise innovative solutions to meet client needs while effectively managing client expectations.
• Responsible for detailing and researching the technical capabilities of Toppan Merrill's offerings compared to competitors, and effectively communicating this information to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Manage the most complex client and/or technical projects.
• Research, draft, and present responses to RFPs while engaging with clients to clarify requirements and ensure technical accuracy in RFP responses.
• Gather business and technical information from clients regarding their needs, collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to integrate this into Toppan Merrill’s product offerings.
• Recognized as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for products.
• Work alongside the marketing team to develop marketing materials for the product line.
• Collaborate with Pricing/Finance teams, external vendors, and internal resource managers to provide market-driven recommendations for pricing and new solution onboarding.
• Train and mentor new or less experienced employees.
• May lead internal team projects focused on process improvement or technology testing.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is advantageous.
• 3-7 years of experience in a client-facing consulting role, preferably within technology services.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Proactive in anticipating client needs and devising solutions to problems.
• Proven project management experience, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
• Ability to interact professionally with both internal and external clients/customers.
• Strong technical aptitude.
• Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning to remain current on evolving regulations and product developments.
• In-depth knowledge of industry best practices (e.g., accounting, financial disclosures, healthcare, etc.).
• Familiarity with commonly used software in the industry.
• Proven leadership skills, capable of leading through direction and influence.
