Solution Engineer – Atlassian

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Create, prototype, and develop business solutions adhering to best practices.

• Integrate feedback from stakeholders to adapt to changing business requirements.

• Evaluate business solutions against design specifications and address any identified issues.

• Conduct business analysis to collect and document business processes and customer requirements.

• Convert findings into precise functional requirements for stakeholder validation and endorsement.

• Formulate and implement migration plans across different environments.

• Assist stakeholders throughout the migration processes with minimal supervision.

• Develop training materials and facilitate end-user training sessions.

• Keep documentation updated to enable support teams to effectively service solutions.

• Recognize enhancements and process improvements to advance product and solution functionality.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in configuring and implementing technical solutions using designated business applications.

• Strong understanding of relational databases, particularly Microsoft SQL Server.

• Familiarity with object-oriented programming languages such as C#, Apex, or Python.

• Solid business analysis capabilities with proven experience in documenting functional requirements.

• Ability to manage project scope, timelines, and customer expectations with a focus on customer satisfaction.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels with professionalism, discretion, and tact.

• Preferred: Experience in creating end-user training materials and conducting training sessions.

• Preferred: Capability to investigate complex situations and ask insightful questions.

• Preferred: Experience in supporting stakeholders during solution migrations across various environments.

• Preferred: Strong collaboration skills across both technical and non-technical teams.

• Preferred: Ability to handle a consistent project workload while proactively communicating delays and pursuing additional project opportunities.
