Solution Engineer – APAC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Take charge of the complete technical engagement — conduct demos, oversee Proof-of-Concepts (POCs), offer architectural guidance, and facilitate seamless deployments.

• Lead the onboarding process and ensure long-term success — assist customers in effectively adopting mirrord and achieving ongoing value.

• Serve as a trusted advisor — gain a deep understanding of customer requirements, resolve technical challenges, and share best practices for cloud-native environments.

• Collaborate across teams — work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to refine our offerings and influence roadmap priorities.

• Develop from scratch — establish scalable playbooks, documentation, and processes to support swift growth across the region.

• Be the Voice of the Customer — communicate insights and feedback to help us iterate quickly and keep developers satisfied.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in high-performance settings (startups, scale-ups, or hyper-growth companies).

• Technical proficiency: Hands-on experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure, modern infrastructure (Kubernetes, microservices), and a strong ability to read and write code.

• Demonstrated (or high potential) experience in customer-facing technical positions — Solutions Engineering, Customer Success, or Pre-Sales.

• Self-motivated mindset: Excels in ambiguous, fast-paced environments with limited supervision.

• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities — comfortable engaging with both technical and business stakeholders.

• Focused on execution: Organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing both tactical and strategic priorities.

• Bonus: Experience in quota-carrying pre-sales or customer success positions within developer tools or cloud infrastructure.
