Solution Designer II

📋 Description

• The Solution Designer II is instrumental in fostering commercial expansion by crafting innovative, client-centric service solutions that meet customer demands, operational capabilities, and financial goals.

• Acting as a strategic ally to Sales, Operations, Commercial Finance, and various cross-functional teams, this position oversees the creation of competitive solutions across food services, environmental services, integrated facilities management, and support services for new business ventures, renewals, and intricate strategic initiatives.

• This role merges operational expertise, business insight, and creative problem-solving to convert client specifications into scalable, executable service frameworks that set Sodexo apart in the industry.

• The Solution Designer II formulates staffing strategies, operational workflows, service delivery models, capital enhancement recommendations, and value propositions that harmonize innovation, operational excellence, and profitability.

• In a highly collaborative, matrixed setting, the Solution Designer II engages in discovery sessions, solution evaluations, client presentations, and pursuit strategy conversations, while working closely with internal stakeholders to ensure solutions are technically robust, financially sound, and compliant with enterprise standards.

• This position also offers direction to solution development team members, encourages the application of standardized tools and methodologies, and backs continuous improvement initiatives that elevate solution quality, consistency, and speed to market.

• Achieving success in this role necessitates the ability to juggle multiple complex projects concurrently, communicate effectively with senior leaders and cross-functional teams, and deliver high-caliber solutions that enhance win rates, fortify client relationships, and promote long-term, profitable growth across various market segments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in designing operational solutions within food service, facilities management, environmental services, or similar outsourced services.

• Capability to convert client needs into scalable, financially viable, and operationally feasible solutions.

• Exceptional collaboration, communication, and project management skills in a cross-functional, matrixed environment.

• Strong financial acumen with a background in assessing solution feasibility, cost drivers, and pricing factors.

• Proficiency in CRM, proposal, estimating, or solution design tools, including Salesforce or comparable platforms.

• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field is preferred, along with experience in supporting complex, multi-site commercial pursuits and solution development.

• Proficiency in French is regarded as a significant advantage.

• Willingness to travel up to 75% within Canada and internationally is required.
