Solution Design Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Provide engineering assistance for proposals, contract renewals, and re-engineering efforts to support CEVA's objectives for business growth and retention.

• Conduct data analysis, develop operational concepts, create design layouts, identify processes, construct engineering models, and formulate customer proposals.

• Continuously enhance engineering skills to design operations for distribution centers.

• Collaborate with Business Development and Program Managers to schedule, prepare, and submit proposals and renewals punctually.

• Offer engineering support for various operational improvements as needed.

• Integrate green initiatives into CEVA proposals when suitable and support local communities.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

• At least 2 years of experience in Logistics & Distribution, focusing on the design, implementation, or launch of new facilities and solutions.

• Preference for experience in 3PL or similar environments.

• Experience in e-commerce and omnichannel fulfillment.

• Six Sigma and Lean certification is advantageous.

• Background in engineering distribution centers.

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, data analysis, process mapping tools, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint.

• Familiarity with WMS functionality.

• Experience with warehouse automation applications is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to cultivate relationships and build trust.

• Capability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.

• Ability to analyze complex issues and devise suitable solutions.

• Willingness to travel domestically 10–15% of the time.
