This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Provide support to the sales team in the local area to exceed revenue targets through pre-sales assistance.
• Carry out all pre-sales activities for sales opportunities within the Federal Civilian market.
• Deliver daily technical support, which includes conducting discovery meetings, technical presentations, product demonstrations, proof of values (POVs), closeout meetings, and other related tasks.
• Interact with customers and prospects to showcase Nexthink solutions, articulating value propositions and unique differentiators.
• Respond to technical inquiries with credibility.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in IT Security, IT Operations, and IT Service Management to present relevant use cases.
• Establish yourself as a Nexthink subject matter expert and thought leader both internally and externally.
• Assist the sales team in qualifying leads by addressing business challenges and demonstrating business value.
• Carry out technical validation processes, including POC/POV, to secure technical victories.
• Complete technical and security questionnaires, RFIs, and RFPs in alignment with Federal requirements.
• Engage in webinars, marketing events, and trade shows.
• Operate independently when appropriate, escalating issues as necessary.
• Foster collaboration with sales, professional services, and partners.
• A minimum of 7+ years of sales experience with Federal Civilian Agencies, demonstrating notable success.
• Solid understanding and experience in the Federal market.
• Functional knowledge of current industry security standards and regulations pertinent to Federal engagements.
• Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Comfort in interacting with senior leaders, executives, and technical teams.
• An entrepreneurial mindset coupled with the ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.
• Excellent judgment and capability to escalate issues when necessary.
• Proficiency in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced sales environment.
• A knack for technology and a quick learning ability regarding Nexthink products and services.
• Previous experience in End User Computing environments, IT Service Management, or Security/Governance/Risk/Compliance is desirable.
• A collaborative team player capable of finding solutions in a dynamic work environment.
• Willingness to adapt to a rapidly growing and fast-paced organization.
• Anticipated travel of at least 50%.
• Occasional international travel may be required.
• Ideally located in the Washington, DC Metro area, with the capacity to travel to DC regularly.
