Solution Consultant – Contract to Perm

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Solution Consultants are instrumental in assisting our clients to maximize their use of OnePlan. You will lead customers through the phases of discovery, implementation, and adoption, ensuring that the solutions provided are in alignment with their strategies and generate tangible value.

• Conducting discovery sessions to identify business requirements and converting them into OnePlan configurations.

• Implementing and integrating Project Portfolio Management (PPM) or Work Management platforms such as OnePlan, Microsoft Project Online, or Smartsheet.

• Configuring portfolios, project plans, resource plans, and financial tracking to facilitate strategic prioritization and project delivery.

• Leveraging Microsoft technologies including Project, Power BI, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365 to enhance solutions and connect with client ecosystems.

• Collaborating with clients throughout the delivery lifecycle, from gathering requirements to ensuring successful adoption.

• Conducting workshops, demonstrations, and presentations that showcase the potential of their solutions to clients.

• Overseeing solution rollouts in a remote setting while ensuring stakeholders remain engaged and informed.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3 to 5+ years of practical implementation experience with PPM or Work Management platforms such as OnePlan, Microsoft Project Online, Clarity PPM, Planview, or Smartsheet, in a SaaS or consulting context.

• Familiarity with the Microsoft ecosystem, including Project, Power Platform, and Microsoft 365, along with experience integrating them into comprehensive solutions.

• Comprehension of PPM and Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) concepts, including capacity planning, time tracking, benefits realization, and resource management.

• Consultative approach with the capacity to align business processes with system configurations and deliver outcome-driven solutions.

• Professionalism and resilience when navigating complex client scenarios or challenging situations.

• Excellent communication skills with a background in leading client engagements in a remote setting.

• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders, supported by strong organizational skills.

• Bonus points if you possess:

• Experience in supporting Project Management Offices (PMOs) or enterprise transformation initiatives.

• Exposure to financial tracking or portfolio prioritization methodologies.

• A history in consulting or professional services roles.
