📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of Android applications and SDKs to comprehend their codebase, architecture, functionalities, and potential vulnerabilities.

• Employ advanced reverse engineering methods such as decompilation, disassembly, and debugging.

• Detect user and device risks, potential data leaks, and malicious code execution.

• Collect, assess, and present threat intelligence concerning Android malware, exploits, and new security trends.

• Work collaboratively with security researchers, developers, and stakeholders to communicate findings and recommendations.

• Play a role in the creation of secure applications and the Android ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3–5+ years of experience in Android Development, Reverse Engineering, Pentesting, Application Security Assessments, or Capture the Flag (CTF) competitions.

• Practical experience in analyzing, unpacking, and reverse engineering malicious applications or SDKs.

• Proficient in both static and dynamic analysis methods.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, IDA Pro, and Burp for binary and APK analysis.

• Knowledgeable in Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Flutter, and various other mobile programming languages.

• Experience in ELF/native binary reverse engineering.

• Skilled in developing signatures like SQL and YARA.

• Understanding of Android activity lifecycles, common API usage, AOSP, and the process of Android application development.

• Awareness of techniques employed by malicious applications that could threaten users’ devices or data.

• Understanding of mobile app store regulations.

• Competence in network traffic analysis and foundational security principles.

• Conduct threat research using platforms such as VirusTotal, the Web, ExploitDB, MITRE, and other open-source intelligence resources.

• Knowledge of encoding and cryptographic practices.

• Familiarity with authentication processes and security measures.

• Understanding of device rooting techniques.

• Knowledge of complex frameworks and application packers.
