This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Perform comprehensive analysis of Android applications and SDKs to gain insights into codebases, architecture, functionality, and potential vulnerabilities.

• Utilize decompilation, disassembly, debugging, and other advanced reverse engineering methodologies.

• Detect user and device risks, data leakage, and malicious code execution within Android apps and SDKs.

• Collect, analyze, and communicate threat intelligence concerning Android malware, exploits, and emerging security trends.

• Work collaboratively with security researchers, developers, and stakeholders to disseminate findings and offer recommendations.

• Assist in the advancement of secure applications and the Android ecosystem.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 3–5+ years of experience in Android Development, Reverse Engineering, Pentesting, Application Security Assessments, or Capture the Flag (CTF).

• Practical experience in analyzing, unpacking, and reverse engineering malicious applications or SDKs.

• Proficient in static and dynamic analysis techniques.

• Familiarity with tools such as Jadx, Ghidra, Frida, IDA Pro, and Burp for binary and APK analysis.

• Strong knowledge of Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, Flutter, and other mobile programming languages.

• Experience in reverse engineering ELF (native binaries).

• Skilled in developing signatures using SQL, Yara, and similar technologies.

• Understanding of Android activity lifecycles, common Android API usage, AOSP, and the processes of Android application development.

• Awareness of methods employed by malicious applications to compromise users' devices or data.

• Familiar with mobile app store policies.

• Knowledge of network traffic analysis and fundamental security principles.

• Experience in researching threats such as APT using VirusTotal, web resources, ExploitDB, MITRE, and other open-source intelligence platforms.

• Comprehension of encoding and cryptography.

• Understanding of authentication mechanisms and security protocols.

• Familiarity with device rooting techniques.

• Proficient in navigating complex frameworks and application packers.
