This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Collaborate with Sales, Product, Engineering, Customer Success, and Go-to-Market teams to define customer strategies, influence product trajectories, and deliver sustained customer value throughout the entire customer lifecycle — from evaluation and adoption to expansion and ongoing success.
• Lead consultative discovery sessions to identify customer challenges, modernization goals, and cloud transformation initiatives, aligning BlueCat's capabilities with measurable operational and business results through executive workshops and in-depth technical discussions.
• Drive proof-of-value engagements that showcase tangible outcomes — including faster troubleshooting, minimized downtime, and enhanced automation — while guiding customers through the processes of evaluation, onboarding, adoption, and expansion.
• Design and position solutions that encompass network observability, telemetry analytics, infrastructure automation, and API-driven workflows, customized to meet each customer's hybrid or multi-cloud environment and strategic objectives.
• Establish trusted advisor relationships with technical teams, operations leaders, architects, and executive stakeholders, supporting both pre-sales cycles and long-term customer success initiatives.
• Empower channel and strategic partners by enhancing their technical positioning and customer engagement capabilities, and support go-to-market efforts including events, webinars, and industry conferences.
• Shape product and market direction by providing customer insights, competitive intelligence, and feature feedback to Product Management, Engineering, and GTM teams — including involvement in beta programs and advisory engagements.
• Function efficiently in a remote-first environment by maintaining accurate Salesforce engagement updates, collaborating with globally distributed teams, and utilizing modern virtual engagement tools while demonstrating a strong executive presence.
• A combination of extensive network engineering knowledge and the consultative skills necessary to convert technical capabilities into strategic business value for enterprise clients.
• A solid foundation in enterprise networking encompassing routing and switching, network security (firewalls, IPS/IDS, NDR), wireless technology, QoS, and infrastructure modernization across on-premises, cloud, SaaS, and hybrid/multi-cloud settings.
• Expertise in observability and telemetry, including NetFlow, Flexible NetFlow (FNF), IPFIX, streaming telemetry, PCAP/deep traffic analysis, and network performance monitoring and analytics platforms.
• Experience with automation and integration using API-driven infrastructure, Infrastructure-as-Code tools, orchestration platforms, and strategies for cloud networking operational visibility; familiarity with DHCP/DNS enterprise architectures is advantageous.
• Familiarity with AI and intelligence related to AI-assisted operations, infrastructure intelligence, and automation-driven workflows is highly valued; CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent certification is a significant differentiator.
• Strong consultative selling and advisory capabilities with an exceptional ability to lead discovery, link technical capabilities to business outcomes, and influence both technical teams and executive stakeholders during complex enterprise sales cycles.
• Proven track record of cross-functional collaboration, effectively working across Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Services organizations in a customer-facing technical role.
• Relevant background and education, including a degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience — along with hands-on roles in sales engineering, solutions engineering, network engineering, technical consulting, or customer success engineering.
