Solution Architect – Integrated Modular Solutions

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Lead the architectural design and system configuration for Integrated Modular Solutions, encompassing structural, mechanical, and electrical integration.

• Take ownership of pre-sale technical solution design, which includes creating one-line diagrams, system layouts, equipment selection, and configuration strategies.

• Act as the primary technical liaison with customers during the development of solutions and architectural discussions.

• Assess customer requirements and formulate architectures that adhere to Tier I–IV data center standards and mission-critical power needs.

• Ensure adherence to relevant codes, UL standards, and industry regulations.

• Foster cross-functional collaboration among Engineering, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Sales to guarantee design feasibility and manufacturability.

• Provide technical guidance through design reviews, submittal creation, and manufacturing release processes.

• Assist in the development and enhancement of standardized IMS configurations and scalable architectural frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in data center infrastructure, critical power systems, modular infrastructure, or application engineering.

• In-depth understanding of low-voltage power distribution systems, such as switchboards, PDUs, RPPs, STSs, transformers, and their associated controls.

• Proven experience in developing one-line diagrams, power system architectures, and equipment configurations.

• Familiarity with reviewing RFQ/RFI/RFP documentation and customer technical specifications.

• Practical knowledge of MEP integration within modular or prefabricated settings.

• Strong technical leadership abilities and effective customer-facing communication skills.
