Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Thailand.

📋 Description

• Client Collaboration: Engage closely with clients to comprehend their needs and convert them into detailed architecture and design, emphasizing cloud-native strategies and best practices.

• Solution Development: Create comprehensive technical solutions utilizing cloud services and technologies, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.

• Problem Analysis: Assess both business and technical challenges, pinpointing functional and non-functional requirements within a cloud environment to design optimal solutions that fulfill client goals.

• Specification and Delivery: Provide accurate specifications for the definition, management, and delivery of cloud-based solutions, integrating IaC principles and automation techniques to enhance efficiency and consistency.

• MVP and POC Leadership: Oversee the implementation of Minimum Viable Product (MVP) and Proof of Concept (POC) on cloud platforms, showcasing the feasibility and value of proposed solutions to clients.

• Technical Troubleshooting: Exhibit proficiency in troubleshooting intricate technical issues within cloud environments, utilizing automation and scripting to expedite resolution processes and minimize downtime.

• Automation Initiatives: Propel automation efforts across cloud infrastructure, scripting routine tasks and workflows using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash to improve operational efficiency and lessen manual intervention.

• Infrastructure as Code: Apply IaC methodologies using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager to provision and manage cloud resources effectively and reliably.

• Security Best Practices: Integrate best practices for security and compliance into cloud-based solutions, employing native security features and third-party tools to safeguard data and applications against emerging threats.

• Continuous Learning: Remain updated on emerging technologies, trends, and best practices in cloud computing, infrastructure automation, and DevOps, continually refining solutions to align with evolving business needs and industry standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience: At least 5 years of experience in one or more sectors of the IT industry.

• Cloud Expertise: Proven experience in building sophisticated solutions on AWS or Microsoft Azure.

• Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline is preferred.

• Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of containers and serverless architecture.

• Database Design: Experience in designing relational or non-relational databases (e.g., MySQL, MariaDB, MongoDB, Aurora, DocumentDB, DynamoDB).

• Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and experience in DevOps or DevSecOps.

• Infrastructure Automation: Proficient in infrastructure automation using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar technologies.

• Communication Skills: Excellent communication and presentation capabilities.
