Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Provide architectural guidance and specialized knowledge to product and program managers.

• Develop innovative and practical end-to-end technical solutions that align with enterprise technology objectives.

• Collaborate with stakeholders to meet business needs while considering product costs, data privacy, business continuity, and information security.

• Evaluate vendor products, comprehend delivery models, and support implementation efforts.

• Establish architectural direction, build consensus, and resolve conflicts across various projects.

• Encourage positive contributions from engineering, product, and operations teams.

• Design reusable and repeatable intellectual property and architectural artifacts.

• Lead Agile sprints in a product owner role and mentor technical staff on design sprints.

• Uphold architectural standards, global guidelines, usability, and design principles.

• Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID) throughout the development lifecycle.

• Suggest custom solutions and create quality user experiences alongside application owners, designers, and infrastructure teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive professional experience in the IT industry with an expert grasp of solution architecture.

• In-depth working knowledge of cloud application architecture utilizing Azure PaaS, IaaS, and SaaS services.

• Subject matter expertise in Azure Microservices, Functions, Logic, Webapp, or Digital services.

• Experience in building analytics platforms using Azure Data Factory, Databricks, and PaaS SQL.

• Practical experience with generative AI, particularly text-based models, and implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) search using LangChain, LlamaIndex, or Semantic Kernel.

• Background with mission-critical technology components that feature robust disaster recovery capabilities.

• Proven experience with multi-geography, multi-tier service design and management.

• Strong foundation in Agile and DevSecOps methodologies.

• Advanced ability to adapt communication styles, build rapport, and effectively function as a leading member of global, distributed teams.

• Resilience, emotional intelligence, and a focus on agile delivery.

• In-depth understanding of the distinction between coding and engineering.

• Minimum of 15+ years of overall IT industry experience.

• Advanced proficiency in oral English.

• Advanced proficiency in Spanish.
