This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Conduct solution design activities to produce valid and feasible architectures, encompassing views that support application components, integrations, application communications, and security.
• Offer technical leadership and initiative to create new and complex high-quality solution designs that meet diverse business requirements.
• Take responsibility for non-functional requirements specifications, including, but not limited to, performance, availability, resilience, budget, and regulatory compliance.
• Clearly communicate the solution to ensure stakeholders and management understand it at the appropriate level of detail.
• Challenge and validate/define the scope to enable businesses to make informed decisions for the organization.
• Assist and contribute to the preparation of decision-making materials for top management.
• Collaborate with IT Security to manage the risk associated with information and IT assets by implementing suitable standards and security policies.
• Integrate knowledge of cutting-edge products and technologies alongside industry standards to achieve desired business outcomes.
• Employ a blend of Eurofins standard and customized solutions to support the development of complex, multi-year solutions.
• Adhere to established architecture principles.
• Be an integral part of the organization, collaborating on innovative ideas and utilizing proven methodologies to deliver a successful solution.
• At least 5 years of proven experience as a Solution Architect for a significant IT program involving multiple teams and/or projects, preferably within an international context.
• Familiarity with hybrid environments, both on-premise and cloud.
• Expertise in designing Cloud/IaaS/PaaS/Serverless architectures.
• Proficiency in architecture modeling using visualization models such as C4.
• Proven ability to create professional architecture documentation (including significant decisions, roadmaps, logical/physical viewpoints, etc.) and general technical documentation.
• Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman, etc.).
• Experience at the Enterprise architecture level or equivalent is advantageous.
• Experience working with distributed or offshore teams is a plus.
• An Engineering Degree or equivalent experience in IT and software development is preferred.
