Solution Architect

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• The Solution Architect is tasked with defining the overall framework and functionality of software systems, ensuring that they fulfill the requirements of the business and its users.

• Oversee members of the development scrum team, including developers, QA testers, business analysts, project managers, and product team members, to guarantee timely delivery of software within budget and to the necessary quality standards.

• Execute change strategies and advocate for the implementation of best practices and patterns, ensuring that performance standards minimize technical debt, enhance delivery efficiency, and comply with security policies.

• Play a key role in shaping functional strategy and have a direct impact on the current and future software design and enterprise architecture.

• Responsible for operational standards, minimizing technical debt, and outlining software roadmaps for capital improvements to a digital platform or technical stack.

• A specialist in leveraged programming languages (.NET, SQL, Angular, C#, Python), ensuring that software currency changes are embraced and managed across all products.

• Establish and refine the software environment strategy, guiding Cloud Engineers and Architects to meet long-term infrastructure and digital platform objectives.

• Lead innovative solutions in data modeling, database design, and data management.

• Create plans, schedules, and track project milestones and timelines.

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

• Over 10 years of experience in a technology-driven role, preferably in a leadership position.

• Profound understanding of software development and agile project management methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Exceptional communication and leadership abilities.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Azure DevOps.

• Quick adaptability to evolving technology landscapes, recognized as a subject matter expert within the organization.
