Solicitor / CILEx Lawyer / Experienced Paralegal - Disease

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Collaborate within a team dedicated to managing defended industrial disease claims.

• Oversee industrial disease claims, including NIHL, HAVS, and conditions related to asbestos.

• Provide assistance to senior lawyers on more intricate disease cases.

• Serve insurer clients and self-insured organizations.

• Participate in a comprehensive training program tailored to your level of experience.

• Adhere to DAC Beachcroft's billing and credit-control standards.

• Exhibit strong financial management of your individual files.

• Contribute to marketing and business development efforts, including client meetings, training sessions, and marketing events.

• Enhance and expand technical knowledge through training, relevant publications, and, if necessary, surpassing Law Society CPD obligations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Solicitor/CILEX Lawyer or a seasoned Paralegal.

• Ideally possess experience or a keen interest in injury claims, though this is not mandatory.

• Capability to foster positive relationships within the team and with commercial/insurer clients.

• Familiarity with management information and client-driven KPIs is preferred.

• Confidently and professionally address client issues on a daily basis.

• Ability to approach legal matters with a commercial or pragmatic mindset rather than a purely academic viewpoint.

• Team-oriented and collaborative, with a readiness to share knowledge and assist team members.
